Malaysia Visa: Application Process

There are two types of visas that can issue a Malaysian visa. Application by reference visa on the one hand and visa application by reference on the other hand. Malaysian visas without reference are approved by the Malaysian High Commission, while visa applications with references are submitted and approved by the Malaysian Immigration Department or other agencies.

Starting the Malaysia visa process can be done online or offline. The process completely depends on the type of visa you need. Malaysian visa applications should be sent to the nearest Malaysian mission abroad. However, for Indians, the online visa application must be made through the I visa system.

In the case of a social visit, you must apply for a visa without a reference. A guide is required for non-social visits. This form of visa is suitable for students, family members, visiting Malaysian businessmen and job seekers.
